Why does everyone think that their employer should buy their health insurance?

I don't understand things work but i am using driving lessons and I'm only looking around to get a vehicle although I am not operating yet. What's car insurance? Why do we require it? and what are quotes? please help me!!! Many thanks enjoy xx that is much
